Talking to him about his mother was extremely shifting, and I realized, “Oh, this isn’t about Nike.” I said, “So, do you have any ideas about who would …?” And instantly I was like, “Oh, f—k.” Because I’m about to ask him who to solid. And if I don’t get them, it’s going to look to him like I ignored him. It’s really onerous to get actors. And I knew who he was going to say because it was the identical person that I’ve wished to direct for thus long, who I suppose is … I don’t think there’s an goal finest actor.
