House of the Dragon star Emma D’Arcy has dropped out of upcoming film challenge Anna.

According to Deadline, the actor has left the movie due to a scheduling conflict, being changed by Naomi Battrick (The Serpent Queen, Jamestown).

Previously titled Mother Russia, the biopic tells the story of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya and the occasions main up to her assassination in 2006. D’Arcy was to play Politkovskaya’s daughter Vera reverse Maxine Peake, who’s starring as Anna.

Ciarán Hinds (Game of Thrones) and Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs are additionally set to appear in the biopic, taking half in Nobel Prize-winning newspaper editor Dmitry Muratov (Hinds) and Anna’s husband Sacha (Isaacs).
